1in5K Dyslexia Dash
The 1in5K Dyslexia Dash is a family-friendly 5K run/walk held annually at Freestone District Park in Gilbert, Arizona. This inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, including strollers and leashed pets, promoting community connection and dyslexia awareness. The course is chip-timed with real-time results, and there is also a 100-yard Kids Dash and a virtual race option.
Participants receive a custom finisher's medal and dri-fit tech shirt. The event supports IDA Arizona’s mission by funding dyslexia and literacy training scholarships for educators.
