About the race
5K for Peace is a running and walking event in Savannah, Georgia, held at Ellis Square with routes through downtown squares. It offers a Full 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Family Loop. The course weaves from Ellis Square through Telfair, Wright, Chippewa, Madison, Monterey, and Forsyth Parks, returning to Ellis Square/City Market for a scenic historic district experience.
The event emphasizes compassion and dignity, benefiting Rooted Ummah and Gaza-related humanitarian relief, plus support for unhoused neighbors and refugees.
