Event overview
The Accent Pontiac Green Bucket Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The event is listed as the 8th annual edition and includes a main 5K and a kids fun run that is untimed. The course is USATF-certified and is routed around Island Lake, beginning at Kirk in the Hills on Long Lake Road. The route uses paved roads with mildly flat and hilly sections. Volunteers will be positioned along the course and a vehicle will be available to assist any participant who cannot finish.
Registration, fees and on-site details
Event entry fees change after October 3, 2025. Early registration fees by October 3 are:
- 5K: $40
- Student: $25
- Pontiac resident: $30
After October 3 and for walk-ins the fee is $45. Every runner receives a T-shirt and a race bib. On-site registration and packet pickup are available on race day at Kirk in the Hills (1340 West Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302). A snack drive will collect donated snack items at packet pickup. There is a Sponsor a Runner option with a suggested donation of $25; proceeds benefit Accent Pontiac and support students and families associated with the program.
