5K Monster Dash

5K Monster Dash takes place at Strataca: Kansas Underground Salt Museum in Hutchinson, Kansas. This 5K is run 650 feet below the earth’s surface through the mine’s dark, winding tunnels, with cool air and shadows along the way. Costumes are encouraged; helmets (bike helmets acceptable) and a light source are required and checked before entry.

The event is a self-timed fun run or walk, with heats limited to 30 participants and clocks at start and finish. The first 150 registrants receive a Monster Dash T‑shirt and Finisher Medal.
