5K Turkey Trot

SLMAC-DST Annual 5K Turkey Trot is a fundraising running event in Spanish Lake, Missouri. The 5K is open to in-person participants or virtual walkers. It is organized by the St.

Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and carries the motto Move With Purpose. Proceeds support the Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, helping provide a full Thanksgiving dinner for families in need by purchasing turkeys and sides. Participants may walk at their leisure, and the course location is marked with signs at 12500 Spanish Pond Rd, James O'Mara Shelter.
