9-11 Hero Run

The 9-11 Hero Run is an annual 5K run/walk held in Holt, Michigan, commemorating the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Now in its 13th year, the event is organized by the Delhi Township Fire Department, Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, and The American Legion Post 238. The course begins at the Delhi Fire Department bays, proceeds south on Aurelius Road through a subdivision, and finishes at Holt Plaza by the 9-11 Memorial.

The run supports first responders and military veterans, with 2025 proceeds benefiting the 100 Club of Lansing and Wilwin Lodge at Cygnet Cove.
