9/11 Heroes Run - Mahoning Valley, Ohio

The 9/11 Heroes Run – Mahoning Valley, Ohio takes place at Kent State University, Trumbull Campus in the Mahoning Valley. The event offers several 5K options: 5K Run for Individuals; 5K Run for Active Duty Military or First Responder; 5K Ruck for Individuals; and 5K Ruck for Active Duty Military or First Responder. Runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are invited to honor the heroes of September 11 and those who served in the wars that followed.

For 2025, participants receive a commemorative shirt, a 5K ruck patch, and a volunteer shirt as special features, with proceeds supporting the never forget mission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
