Event overview

The 963 Beulah Challenge is a night trail race held on February 7, 2026, at the Beulah Shelter in Greensfelder County Park, Wildwood, Missouri. The event is presented by Terrain Trail Runners and is capped at 75 participants. A portion of proceeds is donated to Gateway Off-Road Cyclists (GORC). Registration is open to male, female, and non-binary runners. Crew and pacers are not permitted at the venue due to limited parking and permit restrictions.

Race day/onsite registration is available. Race day fees are: 9-hour event $120, 6-hour event $100, 3-hour event $90. Race day purchases are cash only.

Course and logistics

The event is a timed loop run on the Beulah Loop/Trail. The loop is 4.2 miles with approximately 397 feet of elevation gain and 397 feet of elevation loss per loop. The trail surface is 100% single track dirt with rocks and roots. The loop will be run counter-clockwise for 2026. Runners are advised to carry a headlamp for night running.

There is one aid station at the Beulah Shelter; runners encounter it each time they finish a loop. Drop bags and gear may be left at the shelter at check-in. The event is cup-free; reusable drinking receptacles are required and limited collapsible cups will be available for purchase at check-in for $5. Custom hat swag is available for purchase for $30 cash. No medals or awards are provided; completing the required loops earns a souvenir.
