Logistics and amenities
The course and race activities are based at Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach, with packet pickup available the day before at Indian River County Main Library (Pelican Room) and on race day at Riverside Park (Large Picnic Pavilion). The first 200 registrants for the 5K Run receive a T-shirt. Professional timing is provided for all 5K participants. Music and on-site food and beverage are listed as part of the event amenities.
Awards are given to overall top male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, and 76+. The race supports the Frances Foundation For Kids Fighting Cancer, a nonprofit 501(c) organization; donations are encouraged and a donation box will be available at the pavilion.
