Course and practical information
Most of the courses run on hard-packed red clay roads along the Lake Wales Ridge and through active and historic former citrus groves; over 90% of the courses are on clay roads. Course support and aid stations are available for four hours, and the finish area is at Frostproof Middle-Senior High School. Timing is by chip with live splits and live tracking via the RaceJoy app. Amenities listed include a finisher medal, event shirt for all races, a blanket for half marathon finishers, and post-race food and drinks including BBQ, snacks, beverages, and Florida orange juice. Awards are given to the top three overall, top masters, and top three in each age division for the Half, 10K and 5K.
