Adventure on the Creek Triathlon : Del Rio, TX
The Adventure on the Creek Triathlon takes place in Del Rio, Texas, at Rotary Park on November 1, 2025. The route goes along San Felipe Creek and passes local landmarks such as Val Verde Winery, Brinkley Mansion, Val Verde County Courthouse, the Cassinelli Gin House, and the Whitehead Museum. Participants may register individually or form a team.
Course and divisions
The event has three sequential legs:
- Cycling - 6.5 miles
- Run - 2.75 miles
- Kayak - 1.25 miles
Awards are offered in individual male and female divisions by age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Relay awards include gender and coed categories, top male/female/coed relay, and special recognitions such as Top Emergency Services, Top Student Division, Top Business, and Top School District Relay.
