Event overview
The Akash Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k run/walk scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Akash Winery & Vineyards, 39730 Calle Contento, Temecula, CA 92591. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for a $10 shipping and handling charge.
Registration and race details
Registration includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal (noted to double as a bottle stopper), a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Minors are allowed to participate and receive a discounted registration that includes shirt, medal and bib; minors do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not permitted on site per venue restrictions. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event start. The event offers age-group awards in 10-year categories, with top finishers in each category eligible for custom awards; award pickup is available on race day only.
