Alaska Salmon Runs

The Alaska Salmon Runs, held in Cordova, Alaska, are part of the Salmon Jam Festival, combining running, music, and community celebration. The event features five races along the scenic Copper River Highway, including the King Salmon Marathon, Sockeye Half Marathon, Coho 10K, Humpy 5K, and the Smolt One Mile Fun Run/Walk. Most courses are point-to-point, starting on the Copper River delta and finishing in town at sea level, with a mix of gravel and paved surfaces.
