Alive and Running VA 5K Fun Run/Walk - LIVE AND VIRTUAL RACE

The Alive and Running VA 5K Fun Run/Walk in Battle Creek, Michigan, offers both live and virtual participation options for 2025. The event supports suicide prevention among military, veterans, and youth, in partnership with Gryphon Place. The live race takes place on the Battle Creek VA Medical Center campus, featuring a timed 5K course that loops around the historic campus twice, starting and finishing at the medical center entrance.

Runners start first, followed by walkers; children with guardians and strollers are welcome, but dogs are not allowed. Virtual participants can complete the 5K anywhere between September 13 and October 4. All participants receive a race t-shirt, with packet pickup available before the event.
