Always Ready 5K

The Always Ready 5K is a scenic running event held in Cape May, New Jersey, starting and finishing at Harborview Park. The course features a nearly 1.5-mile tour through the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, offering runners unique views of the harbor, Coast Guard cutters, and the Fishermans Memorial.

The event includes a 5K run, a 3K Always Ready K9 run/walk for participants with dogs, and virtual race options for both distances. The K9 race follows a similar route but does not enter the training center. All finishers receive commemorative items, and the race supports the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation.
