About the race
The Angels Against Abuse 5K Walk/Run is a 15th-year community fundraiser in Romeoville, Illinois, to end domestic violence. The race is hosted at Lewis University–Romeoville, Flight Deck in St. Charles Borromeo – North Campus, 101 Airport Road.
Participants can walk or run the 5K course in a pet- and stroller-friendly, family-friendly atmosphere, with raffles, prizes, refreshments, and other fun activities. Proceeds benefit Guardian Angel Community Services’ Groundwork and Suzy’s Caring Place, supporting families and children affected by domestic violence.
