Angry Tortoise 50K

The Angry Tortoise 50K and 25K trail runs take place in the scenic flatwoods of Cary State Forest near Jacksonville, Florida. Celebrating its 13th anniversary in 2026, this event offers a flat, forest road course ideal for both ultra and trail running beginners. Participants benefit from well-supported aid stations, an 8-hour cut-off time allowing a relaxed pace, and post-race lunch.

The race features awards for various age groups and overall finishers, along with a cool race shirt and finisher awards. Additionally, runners can enjoy free hot showers at the start/finish area.
