Newark Turkey Trot 10k

53rd Annual Newark Turkey Trot 10k / 5k is Delaware’s oldest consecutive road race, held at Handloff Park, 1000 Barksdale Road, Newark, DE. The USATF-certified course features rolling hills through residential areas, with the 10k run as two loops. The day includes raffles donated by local businesses and awards for overall finishers and age groups in five-year increments for both distances.

The first 500 registrants receive shirts, and there are post-race refreshments. Timing uses MYLAPS BibTag; bibs are non-transferable and pets aren’t allowed. Proceeds benefit the James F.
