Appletree Marathon
The PeaceHealth Appletree Marathon, held in Vancouver, Washington, is an annual Boston-qualifying race featuring a full marathon, half marathon, First Responder Marathon Relay, and a Sunset 5K. The event offers a flat, fast, and scenic course that runs through historic sites such as Fort Vancouver, Officer’s Row, the Army Barracks, Pearson Airport, and the Old Apple Tree, alongside the Columbia River with views of Mt. Hood.
The marathon consists of a new single-loop course in 2025, while the half marathon is a single loop. The race is known for its vibrant atmosphere, energetic water stations every mile, live entertainment, and post-race festivities including apple-themed treats and free beer. It supports local nonprofits and honors first responders with a special relay event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
