Appletree Marathon

Located in Vancouver, WA, the PeaceHealth Appletree Marathon offers a Boston-qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon, First Responder Relay, and a Sunset 5K. Dubbed a “Run Through History,” the flat, fast route winds through Fort Vancouver, Officer’s Row, the Army Barracks, Pearson Airport (the oldest operating airport in the USA), the Historic Old Apple Tree, and along the Columbia River, with spectator support and frequent entertainment. A new single-loop marathon course debuts in 2025.

The event includes BEAST medals for runners who complete both days, live bands, and a post-race feast with free beer. Proceeds benefit PAL Southwest Washington and Fort Vancouver historic sites; cap: 3,000 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
