Appomattox River Greenway 10k

The Appomattox River Greenway 5k & 10k, hosted by Bishops Events, takes place on a paved trail along the Appomattox River in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Runners choose between a 5k or 10k course on a mostly flat riverfront route with minor elevation changes. The 10k features five water stations (Gatorade at some stations); the 5k has two.

Port-a-johns are available, and finishers receive a medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. The race benefits Rikki’s Refuge and offers a virtual option. Live results are posted on Athlinks, with on-site QR tracking and post-race awards across age groups and overall winners.
