Course and logistics
Aid stations are provided along the courses, roughly every 2 to 12 miles depending on distance, and supply water, ice, electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own cup, bottle, or hydration vessel for refills. A chip-timing system records finish times and runners must check in at aid stations by displaying their bib. Medical staff from a contracted provider will be based at the start/finish headquarters.
Crews are allowed at designated areas but are restricted at the Picket Post trailhead (crew parking is 0.5 to 0.75 miles away); receiving aid from a vehicle at the trailhead can result in penalty or disqualification. Pacers are not permitted. There are no remote drop-bag locations; personal drop bags can be left at the start/finish. The overall race cutoff is 4:00 PM and some distances have intermediate cutoffs at specific aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
