Desert Solstice - Phoenix, AZ
Desert Solstice takes place on December 20, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ at Central High School. The event is organized as a 24-hour running competition and serves as a qualifier for the USA 24 Hour national team. The course is a certified 400-meter all-weather track located at Central High School, 4500 N 7th St.

Runners must meet one of the listed qualifying standards on the race website; the entry fee applies to all runners regardless of qualification. All entrants are registered for the 24-hour event. Laps are recorded by a bib chip timing system and timing data will be submitted for USATF record purposes. Direction of travel on the track will change every four hours. Runners may leave the track during the race but must return to the same place before continuing; leaving and returning directly by the timing equipment is not allowed. An electronic display near the start will show laps, distance, and race. Entrants will receive results for their 100-mile split (if reached) and for the 24-hour event. Volunteer roles include event setup, aid station, timing, and breakdown; volunteer perks include a race shirt or other goody and Aravaipa Race Credits.
