Desert Solstice
Desert Solstice is a premier ultrarunning track event held annually at Central High School Track in Phoenix, Arizona. This elite invitational features competitive 24-hour and 100-mile races on a 400-meter all-weather track, with the direction of travel changing every four hours. Limited to 25 runners for the 24-hour/100-mile events, it serves as a key qualifier for the national 24 Hour team.
The event is known for its fast course and has seen numerous national and world records set.
