Desert Solstice
Desert Solstice Track Invitational is an ultrarunning meet on a 400-meter all-weather track at Central High School in Phoenix, Arizona. It centers on two distances, 24 hours and 100 miles, attracting competitors by invitation or qualification, with a cap of 25 entrants. The looped course changes direction every four hours and offers a fully stocked aid station plus ample crew space.
The meet emphasizes record-setting and serves as an ideal qualifier for the national 24 Hour team, with live tracking, USATF/IAU timing, and prize money for top performances. World and American records have been set here. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
