Course and event details
The courses follow sections of the Prescott Circle Trail and include desert trails, pine and juniper forest, gravel paths, rocky scrambles, technical granite rock, and single track. Aid stations are placed regularly (intervals vary by distance, roughly 0.6 to 11 miles) and supply water, ice, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit; gels are not provided. The event is cupless, so runners must bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site. Drop bags are allowed for the longest race at specified aid stations. Crews are permitted at start/finish areas and limited aid locations; pacers are allowed only for the longest distance and must follow race rules (one pacer per runner, on foot). The 92K lists about 6,100 feet of total elevation gain and a maximum elevation near 6,686 feet. Camping is available at Watson Lake with a limited number of sites reserved for the weekend.
