The Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity 12th Annual Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Arcadia, Florida. The course runs near the Peace River and uses a mix of paved and natural trails. The event is held outdoors with awards announced at the Morgan Park pavilion. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing. Proceeds support Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity, including work to eliminate substandard housing and to repair disaster-affected homes in DeSoto County.
Logistics and awards
Registration pricing listed on the event page shows a base entry fee of $30, with a reduced fee of $25 for ages 1-18; the fee increases after November 8. A group rate is available for teams of six or more (no shirt included). Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Habitat for Humanity office in the Truist Bank building at 10 S. DeSoto Ave, Suite 101; race day packet pickup is available at the race site. Awards are given in five-year age groups for male and female divisions, plus overall male and female, masters, and grandmasters. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by November 8.
