Area 51 Trail Race

The Area 51 Trail Race takes place near Hernando, Mississippi, featuring challenging single-track trails through the hills and trees of North Mississippi. The event offers two distances: a 12K and a 6K, both starting and finishing at the Area 51 mountain bike trails. The course includes nearly 100 feet of elevation gain per mile, making it a demanding yet runnable trail race.

The 6K uses a shortcut between the south and north Voyager trails. The race supports the North Mississippi Trail Alliance, with all profits aiding trail maintenance and development.
