Course and facilities
The race takes place at Bixler Lake Park in Kendallville, IN, which surrounds 117-acre Bixler Lake. The course uses a walkway and nature trail of about three miles that circles the lake. The loop is part asphalt and part natural trail. Indoor restroom facilities are available on both sides of the lake. Camping is available in designated campground spots either for a small fee across from the start-finish area or for free next to the start-finish area on a first-come, first-serve basis; details on camping costs and park reservations will be provided after the start of the year. The event provides an aid station and daytime live music from an all-veterans band. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
