Armed Forces Endurance Run
The Armed Forces Endurance Run (AFER) is a timed endurance event held at Bixler Lake Park in Kendallville, Indiana, honoring active duty service members and veterans, with this year's focus on the Marines. Participants can choose from 6, 12, or 24-hour races, including a 24-hour relay and a ruck division requiring participants to carry weighted packs. The course is a scenic 3-mile loop around Bixler Lake, featuring asphalt and trail surfaces, with indoor restrooms available.
