About the race
Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk at the Flying Saucer – Downtown Houston is a roughly 3-mile guided run/walk beginning and ending at 705 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002. The event blends fitness with a festive OctoBEER atmosphere, featuring three Saint Arnold Brewing Company brews, a pint glass, and a Texas Tamale Company breakfast. The course goes to Saint Arnold and back, with three pace leaders to accommodate all speeds.
The Flying Saucer's extended outdoor patio hosts the post-race celebration. Parking is free downtown on Sundays. All runs are rain or shine, and it’s billed as halfway to the Art Car IPA 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
