The 62nd Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Races take place in Asbury Park, New Jersey, featuring a festive winter running event with multiple race options. Participants can choose from a 5K run, a 1-mile run, and a 5K racewalk. The 5K course starts outside the Asbury Park Convention Center, heads south for 1.55 miles to a turnaround in Bradley Beach, then returns to finish at the Convention Hall.
The 1-mile run follows a shorter out-and-back route. The event offers commemorative T-shirts, medals for finishers, and awards for top competitors. It supports the charity Interfaith Neighbors, which aids local families and farmers.
