Atalaya Elementary Turkey Trot

About the race

Atalaya Elementary 2025 Turkey Trot is a Santa Fe, New Mexico charity running event featuring a TIMED 5k Run/Walk and a FUN RUN Kids 1k. The course starts at the Railyard Park, runs along the city path to Ashbaugh Park, then turns around and returns to the Railyard. The event is a beloved community tradition, drawing more than 450 runners and serving as the largest fundraiser for the Atalaya Elementary PTA, supporting students and teachers.

It’s the 19th anniversary of the Turkey Trot, and the first 500 registrants receive a T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
