Athens Fair 5K

The Athens Fair 5K Run/Walk is a popular mid-summer event held annually in downtown Athens, Wisconsin, as part of the Annual Athens Fair. The 16th edition of the race takes place at Memorial Park, starting in front of the Beer Tent. The scenic 5K course routes through Erbach Park trails and finishes on Kreutzer Street near the Main Street Market grocery store.

Local businesses sponsor giveaways such as T-shirts, snacks, beverages, water stops, and awards. Proceeds from registration support Athens Fair activities, and the race is managed by the Athens Area Trail Association, which also welcomes donations to support local trails.
