Attack Wing Runway 5K

The 174th Attack Wing Runway 5K, presented by Syracuse Hancock International Airport, is an annual running event held at Hancock Field in Syracuse, NY. This unique 5K race takes place on the airport runway, offering participants a distinctive course experience. The event features two categories: one open to the general public and another exclusive to 174th Attack Wing members.

Runners receive a race shirt with registration, and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, ranging from under 19 to over 80, for both men and women. A highlight includes an MQ-9 aircraft display, enhancing the event's military and aviation atmosphere. Participants and spectators aged 18 and older must present a REAL ID-compliant identification to access the military installation on race day.
