About the race
Avondale 5K Run & Walk takes place in Charleston, South Carolina (29407). It offers two events: the Avondale 5K and the Running Chair Team. Created in 2010 to fund the Charles Webb Center, a developmental day care run by the Disabilities Board of Charleston County for children with special needs from 6 weeks to 10 years old, the race aims to develop each child’s self-esteem, social and language skills, and preschool readiness.
