The 4th Annual Awaken Recovery Run takes place on February 28, 2026, in Fultondale, Alabama at Black Creek Park, 777 Yarbrough Road, 35068. The event is held on the Black Creek Park trail and includes multiple distances.
- 5K — Awaken 5K; registration fee $30.
- 10K — Awaken 10K; registration fee $40.
- 0K — Awaken 0K (support without running); registration fee $35.
- 1-Mile — Awaken 1-Mile Fun Run; registration fee $15.
Organizer and registration
The run is organized by Awaken, a Birmingham-based nonprofit that provides support groups, recovery retreats, and assistance for churches to help people live free from addiction and relational trauma. Participation supports Awaken’s services.
Day-of registration is available onsite on the event date. Morning registration fees are $20 for the 1-Mile Fun Run, $40 for the 5K, and $60 for the 10K.
