About the race
AWYS Lace-Up To Buckle-Up 5K Run/Walk is the Always Wear Your Seatbelt Foundation’s 10th annual fundraising event held in Belle Isle, Florida at Cornerstone Charter Academy (5903 Randolph Ave). The in-person 5K Run/Walk covers 3.1 miles, with a virtual option and a Bikes & Scooters segment. The race raises seatbelt safety awareness, with 100% of net proceeds supporting teen safety education.
The day features an opening ceremony at the bus, an on-site OneBlood donation, electronic timing for in-person runners, and race shirts included for pre-registered participants.
