The Azalea Festival 5k is a chip-timed 5k run and walk in Pickens, South Carolina, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The race starts and finishes at Doodle Park, located at 415 E. Awards and beneficiaries
All proceeds from the race go to the Beverly Smith Scholarship Fund. The event is organized by the Pickens Women’s Association, a nonprofit civic organization; the Beverly M. Smith Scholarship is awarded each year to a female graduate of Pickens High School and is described as the largest non-academic private scholarship at that school. Any proceeds above the scholarship amount are donated to local charities. Race awards include overall male and female cash prizes of $100 for first, $75 for second, and $25 for third. Awards are three-deep for overall M/F and Masters M/F, with age-group awards at 10-year intervals and specified age-group depths for younger categories.
