Baby Shippey

Event overview

Baby Shippey takes place Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Beaumont Reservation in High Ridge, MO (6480 Beaumont Reservation Dr). The event offers two trail distances and is designated as a cupless race. Entry is limited to the first 150 runners. Packet pickup is held at the Cub World Building. Registration changes and bib transfers are allowed until 6/5/2026. There are no refunds or deferrals. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each distance. All registered runners receive a custom event item; finisher medals are to be announced.

Course and logistics

The courses run on rugged primitive trails, with large rocks and boulders, off-camber sections, narrow gravel switchbacks, powerline and ATV paths, fast jeep roads, steep ascents and steep descents. Aid stations and course cutoffs are used.

• 13.05 mi Half - approx 2,390 ft climbing; two aid stations (near mile 3 and mile 8.2)
• 6.1 mi 10K - approx 1,155 ft climbing; one aid station (near mile 3)
