Baby Shippey
Baby Shippey is a challenging summer trail running event held at the Beaumont Scout Reservation in High Ridge, Missouri. It offers two distances: a rugged 13.05-mile half marathon with approximately 2,390 feet of elevation gain, and a demanding 6.2-mile 10K featuring over 1,150 feet of climbing. The course includes rocky traverses, steep ascents and descents, narrow switchbacks on loose gravel, and fast jeep roads, designed to test runners' endurance and agility.
Aid stations are strategically placed along the routes. The race atmosphere is intense and raw, with no frills or cups, promising a tough but rewarding experience on primitive trails through scenic scouting property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
