Back Your Badge Marathon

Back Your Badge Marathon is a multi-distance race held in Plainfield, Indiana, featuring Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids Run options. The event celebrates public safety—participants Back Their Badge by choosing to support Police, Fire, or 9-1-1 dispatchers, with miles contributing to the chosen agency and a traveling trophy awarded to the top total. The scenic course weaves through Historic US 40, Plainfield’s park trails, iron bridges, and even the bay of a Fire Station, finishing back at the Richard A.
