The Backyard Ultra - Summit Trail Racing is a Last Person Standing trail race in Marble Falls, TX, held on November 22, 2025. Course, format and on-site services
Participants run a repeating loop of 4.1667 miles each hour until one runner remains. The daytime trail lap is 2.08 miles; two laps make one loop. The night loop uses a combination of trail and road. Key rules include returning to the start line within 60 minutes (minimum 14:23 min/mile pace) and no pacers allowed. Organizers give 3, 2, and 1 minute warnings before each loop. Crew access is available at the start/finish; primitive camping and RVs are allowed. Aid at the start/finish includes water, ice, orange-flavored Tailwind, and race snacks.
