Bad Beard Events River Gorge Trail Race
The Bad Beard Events River Gorge Trail Race, held near Chattanooga, Tennessee, offers three challenging distances: 6.5, 10.2, and 20 miles. Set in the scenic Prentice-Cooper Wildlife Management Area, the course features technical single-track trails through Mullens Cove and Pot Point loops, showcasing stunning bluff views of the Tennessee River, cascading streams, rhododendrons, and towering hemlocks. Elevation gains range from approximately 1,500 feet for the shortest race to 3,000 feet for the 20-miler.
