Event overview
The Bad Beard X Evergreen Property Grp Holiday Hustle is a trail race on December 21, 2025, in the Black Creek subdivision near Mt. Aetna / Aetna Mountain in Chattanooga, TN. This is the event's second edition and it supports the Tennessee River Gorge Trust. The start/finish area is at 400 Alpine Way (coordinates 35.0181740,-85.4061561) near a large open field and covered pavilions.
Course, distances and on-course services
The course uses new trails on Aetna Mountain. Distances are approximate and loop-based:
- ~3.7 km (5K-ish) - one blue/green loop
- ~7.4 km (10K-ish) - two same-direction loops
Each loop has about 600 ft of elevation gain. There will be one full aid station at the main Aeta Trailhead offering Tailwind, water, and snacks, plus a water-only station at the bottom of the loop. Packet pickup and race-day arrangements are provided by the organizer. The start/finish area includes picnic tables, grills, a playground, a dog park, and a basketball court. Participants will receive Christmas-themed race swag and pancakes after the race. Hiking the course is allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
