Event overview
The Badger Trail Races are a series of ultra-marathon events presented by Ten Junk Miles Racing on August 1-2, 2026. The races take place along the Badger State Trail and continue onto the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, WI and Orangeville, IL. The course surface is mostly rail trail, with about 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt.

Race logistics and awards
Aid stations are provided every 4-8 miles. Cutoff times are set for each distance: 100 Mile - 36 hours, 100K - 33 hours, 50 Mile - 12 hours, 50K - 12 hours, Marathon - 11 hours, Half Marathon - 11 hours. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before the races at Dots Tavern in Basco, WI. Registration closes July 29, 2026, and the guaranteed swag and deferral deadline is July 1, 2026.
Finishers of all races receive a finisher's award. Specific 100 Mile awards include a starter belt, a Badger Buckle for finishers, additional buckles for over-30-hour finishers, and conchos or megabuckles for multi-time finishers. The Badger 100 is acknowledged as an official qualifier for the Badwater 135. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
