BadgerPalooza is an ultramarathon held October 17-18, 2025 at Autumn Lake Winery in Williamstown, New Jersey (870 W Malaga Road). The main event consists of twenty-four 5K runs, with one 5K starting at the top of each hour for 24 hours, totaling 74.4 miles. The event also includes 12-hour and 6-hour options and relay divisions, including a 24-hour 2-person relay and a new 24-hour 4-person relay.

Course, rules, and facilities

The 5K loops run on winery property and use trails of hard packed dirt, grass, sand, and loose dirt. The course passes around two lakes and through a vineyard and may include stairs. The event is rain or shine; prior or on-site rain can create muddy sections. Each 5K is chip timed and an athlete’s or team’s total time is the sum of completed 5K times. The lowest total time among those who complete all required 5Ks wins; ties are decided by the fastest final 5K.

Racing rules require athletes or relay teams to start each 5K with the group at the top of the hour. Missing a start removes the athlete or team from the event. Relay teams may be male, female, or coed. Minimum per-person 5K requirements apply - for example, each member of a 24-hour 2-person relay must complete at least nine 5Ks; each member of a 24-hour 4-person relay must complete six 5Ks. The event is cup free; participants must provide their own bottle or cup. An aid station near the start/finish offers water, sodas, broth, coffee, and basic food.
