Baker Lake 50k
The Baker Lake 50k is a challenging 31.2-mile trail run held in the scenic Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest near Baker Lake, Washington. The out-and-back course starts and finishes at Kulshan Campground, featuring a paved road crossing the Upper Baker Dam before transitioning to a gravel path and then a single-track trail along the lake's eastern shore.
Runners experience rolling terrain with numerous rises, descents, mossy footbridges, and log crossings through old-growth forests regrown after an 1843 forest fire. The trail offers stunning views of Mt. Baker and diverse flora.
Aid stations provide water, with a well-equipped halfway point. Camping is available free at the start/finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
