Baker Trail Ultrachallenge
The Baker Trail UltraChallenge is a 50-mile ultramarathon held on the scenic Baker Trail in Pennsylvania, featuring a challenging point-to-point course with 7,800 feet of elevation gain. The 2025 race covers the Southern section, starting in Godfrey, PA, and finishing at a historic farmhouse basecamp in Smicksburg, PA. The course includes a mix of single-track trails, dirt roads, rail trails, and paved roads winding through Amish farmland.
Participants can run individually or as part of relay teams. The event emphasizes mental endurance due to varied terrain and frequent course navigation. Unique three-piece medals are awarded for completing each section of the trail series.
