Event overview
The Bank of America New Year’s Eve 5K Run/Walk is a city 5K event held in Jacksonville, Florida, with start and finish on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard in front of the Veterans Memorial Arena. The event benefits Gator Bowl Charities and is part of the Jacksonville Grand Prix series. All participants receive an official race shirt and all finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
Logistics, entries and awards
Distance: 5K
Entry fees increase as the event approaches. A $5 age discount is applied automatically for participants 17 and under and 65 and over. A Run for a Child option allows a $10 donation during registration; participants receive a wristband to show support. Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports store locations on the two days before the race and unclaimed packets will be available at the race site on race day. Food and drink are available in the finish area after the race. Overall and age-group awards are presented for top finishers, including the top three men and women overall, masters winners, and top three finishers in standard age brackets from youth through 80+.
