Event
The Bar Z Haunted Wine Run is scheduled for October 12, 2025 in Canyon, TX at Bar Z Winery (19290 Farm to Market 1541, Canyon, TX 79015). The primary running event is a 5k. The course starts and finishes at the winery and includes a long out-and-back stretch down the lane. The event is Halloween-themed and includes a wine pour at the finish.
Registration and race details
The 5k is chip-timed and scored by J3 Timing; official results are posted online. Registration includes a ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine-glass-shaped finisher medal, and a chip-timed race bib. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day of the event. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be shipped for a $10 shipping and handling charge or picked up and used by a virtual participant.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each ten-year age category (19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 & over). Competitive runners should start with the first group to be eligible for age-group awards. A charity partner is listed as Texas Wine Tour.
