Barkhamsted River Run 5K

The 16th Annual Barkhamsted River Run 5K is a community-focused running event scheduled for June 1, 2025, at Barkhamsted Elementary School. This fundraiser supports the local elementary school and features a scenic 5K course along the Farmington River and People's State Forest, with two hills for added challenge. Participants can also join a 1M Kids Fun Run.

Registration includes a free T-shirt for those who sign up by May 16. Medals will be awarded to the first-place finishers in each category, making it a fun and competitive event for runners of all ages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
