About the race
Barrier Free 5K is the 14th annual walk/run held in Boynton Beach, Florida, at Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park. The event offers 5K Run/Walk, 5K Wheelchair, 1-Mile Race, Virtual 5K, and Kids Dash. The flat, fast, scenic course runs through Hunters Run Golf & Racquet Club.
Proceeds support expanding Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park, a Florida Swamp-themed, barrier-free space designed for people of all ages and abilities. Finisher medals, race shirts, age-group and overall awards, and finisher certificates are awarded; shirts are limited to the first 200 registrants. A virtual option is also available.
