The 14th Annual Barrier Free 5K takes place on February 7, 2026 in Boynton Beach, Florida at 3111 South Congress Avenue, ZIP 33426. The event program includes the following distances:

- 5K Wheelchair
- 1-Mile Race
- Virtual 5K
- Kids Dash
Listed entry fees are $40 for the 5K, 5K Wheelchair and Virtual 5K, $30 for the 1-Mile Race, and $10 for the Kids Dash. Prices increase after January 12, 2026. Registration for the Kids Dash closes on February 7, 2026. Shirts are available for the first 200 registrants; any leftovers will be distributed on a first come, first served basis at the race site.
Purpose, course and logistics
The event raises funds for the expansion of the Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park. The park was designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities of all ages. It is themed around a Florida swamp and includes a central public space with access to three play areas; two play areas have been constructed and a third is planned for a future phase. The park also features two ponds connected by a metaphorical stream bed and trails that lead to play and sensory areas.
