Bay Area Turkey Trot

Bay Area Turkey Trot is Houston’s 17th annual Thanksgiving morning running event. The course unfolds through flat, fast, and scenic neighborhoods of Clear Lake, with a start and finish at On the Run Clear Lake (2427 Bay Area Blvd). Distances include a Kids 1K, a 5K Run/Walk, and a 10K Run.

The atmosphere blends family tradition with competitive spirit, designed to be safe yet challenging for runners of all ages. A notable feature is that canine friends are welcome to join (no retractable leashes). The event is organized by Running Alliance Sport and features a course map on the site.
