About the race
The Bear Chase is a running event held in Bertha, Minnesota, featuring a 1-mile run/walk, a 5K run, and a combined 5K & 1-mile double race. Both races start with a shuttle bus transporting participants to the start line, finishing in front of Bertha-Hewitt High School. The 1-mile course is flat, paved, and fast, while the 5K includes small rolling hills.
Awards include ribbons for the top three finishers in each division and trophies for the top male and female runners. Pre-registration ensures a T-shirt, with limited availability after late June.
